Bicycles brand Cinelli

    In 1947, the outstanding professional racer with 15 years of experience, and a great part-time mechanic, decided to create a company to develop a bike and bring brilliant ideas which he saw during the many miles of driving on highways. His name Cino Cinelli.

     Some remember his racing career, but many others know what Chino Tsinelli gave the first modern bicycle aluminum handlebar, the first saddle with a plastic core, the first straps on the pedals (tulklipsy) and the first pedal quickly removed.

     Thirty years later, in 1978, Cino handed the company of a young industrialist, one of the leaders in the production of steel tubes - Antonio Colombo. The company was reorganized, and the invention Cinelli began to find their way and fame throughout the world. The result was a design award at the Compasso d'Oro (1991), as well as more than 28 gold medals at the Olympics and world championships on bikes of the brand Cinelli.

     Branded bicycle handlebars Tsinelli set themselves many legendary champions of cycling, such as Lemond, Fignon, Eno and Chiappucci, as well as Lance Armstrong and Mario Cipollini.

     Since 2010 Cinelli is the official sponsor of the criterium Red Hook, the most important competitions for Fixed-gear bicycle in the world.
